Thread title length

I noticed the title lengths the main page and individual forums aren't trimed prior to posting so the whole page dimensions get messed up. Might I suggest doing a substring() on thread titles before they hit the forums? I don't think it would be an issue in the individual threads themselves however.

I'd offer to help but it's been a LONG time since I was hacking vB so I have no idea where to direct you to make the change. I'm sure Raj knows better than I :D.

I never have that problem here. What browser do you use?

FireFox... and at the moment the thread entitled "Cant decide on what kind of boa or where to get it?Right now I have a possibly..." is pushing the whole screen over so I have to scroll. Not a big deal obviously, but just a thought.

Perhaps it's just a FireFox thing?

That's what it looks like in Firefox... so apparently this is exclusive to Firefox. However, since we are discussing it, here's the advanced reply screenshot in Firefox (which also extends over):

So it looks like Firefox isn't playing nice with the design overall.

What resolution you guys using because I just checked and it works fine for me in both ie7 and firefox.:confused: :confused:

Same here, 1024 x 768. Just checked it in IE 7 and sure enough... same problem. That's strange... appears to be a hardware issue. Perhaps it's the respective video cards? Not sure... weird.

Just to check ONE more, I opened up Safari (on PC) and sure enough same thing. Hardware problem, maybe how the video card is rendering it? Weird.

i'm using safari and on a mac and my screen is fine.
