    need some help
well last night my mom starts screaming at the top of her lungs and i ran in the house to see and there he was my male pastel that went missing a couple weeks ago... i wish i knew where he was hiding because i tore my house apart but could not find him anywhere... well anyways i noticed when i picked him up that he has what appears to be a scab on his underbelly the scab is about the size of a small m&m maybe smaller but there is a tiny tiny bit of dried up blood around the edges of some belly scales... since its already scabbed what do i do? ive never had a snake with an injury  :(

First I would give him a quick bath...just to wash off anything he might have crawled through while wandering. Also, make sure his cage is spotlessly clean and I suggest you use newpaper or papertowel till the wound heals.

Also, bump up your ambient temps to the mid to upper 80's for a few days as I am sure he is very cold and you want to limit the chance for an RI.

Even though the wound is scabbed I would still put some Neosporin on it to kill off any bacteria and such around it.

Keep us posted...also can you post a picture of the wound?
