How often should i be feeding...
I got my bp when he was just a couple weeks old and the pet store would feed him once a week. He's now 4 months old, so I'm wondering if I should be feeding him less often now that he's on adult mice. Anyone got some sort of reference as to how often you should be feeding a bp??

Once every seven days is a perfectly fine schedule for the life of the snake. A very regular routine serves two purposes....one, your snake gets used to it and will usually come to anticipate the meal....and two, it makes it easy for the keeper to track if they feed every Tuesday (for instance).

It doesn't hurt to skip a week of feeding every few weeks, just to help keep their appetite sharp.

The main thing about feeding weekly is to keep the meals on the small side. Not TINY....but even for a mature female ball python, a small-small rat once a week is plenty, even though she's physically capable of eating a larger meal.
