    Darty ate more today
Last week D'Artanian acted like he wanted another mouse for dinner.

Well, after I got my teeth filled I went and got 2 mice *not counting tail, an inch long each* and BOY he struck one and ate it then i slipped the other one in and BOOM he was on it super fast so he musta wanted it.

I didn't get nipped at this time!

DARTY: Bout Damn time you gave me 2 mice im a bit over 2 ft now!
JERI: I OBEY THE SNAKE :mouse2: :mouse2: :worship:

If those mice are only an inch long, they are definitely not big enough to do much as far as nutritional value. I raise mice and mice are an inch long when they are fuzzies(eyes not open, barely crawling around).

Were these adults? Already have their eyes open, jumping around, eating solid food? Those should be at least 2-3" long and solid little mice.

I have the same problem where I'm at. The only place to get mice or rats only has "adult" mice which really are pretty small, and not even close to full grown, or full size rats. =/ Kasi and I are going to start breeding our own rats soon, but until then, poor, too small mice is all I've got *bleh*

When I had to get mice from a pet store and they were tineensy(yes, it's a word, hehe), I would keep them for a week or two and feed them up. That way, I knew they were eating a good diet and they were a good size by the time they got fed off.
