First and last live feed, also a question about rat bites
So today for the first time i fed my boa a live rat never fed any of my snakes live so i have never had to deal with this before. Well the dang thing bit my snake twice before i clocked it with a wooden spoon and stuck the wooden spoon in its mouth. The bites are barely noticable but wanted to make sure about what i should maybe clean the wounds with and should i wait a day or two or should i get in there and posibly risk a regurgitation
    Thanks in advance

Clean them with some straight Chlorahexidine and the then put some triple antibiotic the kind with our pain killer in it on the bites and just keep an eye on them.

I would do absolutely nothing and just keep an eye on it for a good week or so. Keep the cage cleaned really well and you should be ok. If you see it start to get swollen, then take it to a vet. Most of the time we as keepers jump the gun and don't help at all, but make it worse...just wait and pay close attention to it for a bit.
