Ok he used to stay, pre shed over in the hot zone 24 - 7

Now, post shed he stays in the cool (yet still warm)zone

    Temps are the same

whats UP with him or does he just prefer cooler climate?

Depends on the size of the snake. I have a 900 gram het pied that'll only eat mice and he eats three a week. As long as he doesn't look over stuffed when he eats two then yea feed him two. Just make sure hes done eating before you feed the second one.

Yea then try two mice. I wouldn't wait 30 minutes as soon as the first one is all the way down and hes back cruising or just sitting there drop the second one in.

I leave ever thing in mine.. I do take the water bowl out though I have had them knock it over or constrict the rat under water so I just take it out till their done but you can leave every thing in. I makes them feel more secure and more like their hunting. :D
