Sprocket's New Home - Part Deux
Well after waiting and waiting it seems Sprocket just isn't adjusting to the new and much bigger housing I set up for him. Being very concerned he wasn't eating at all or accessing his water dish (though he's heavily misted twice daily so he can lick up droplets), I decided to rethink his housing for now.

Ten gallon tank set upright to give him height (pic prior to him being introduced to the new caging arrangement).....

All set up, Sprocket's in there somewhere, misted and locked up....hopefully he'll settle back in and resume his normal eating patterns now that he's back in a smaller enclosure *fingers crossed*.....

I should have noted, that small heat rock you see is purely for cage decor and for Sprocket to sit or climb on. The cord has been removed. :)

I keep mine in a 10 gallon upright like that. She has always managed to find the food. I feed mostly CGD now and will pick up crickets when I remember.

I think the big enclosure just freaked Sprocket out, Jamie. He wouldn't come down out of his vinery to feed and I just couldn't risk him losing ground. Seems like the upright 10 gallon is the way to go. Sprocket seems to like his worms and crix more than his GSD or fruit baby food. Picky beast he is!

Hope he does better now! I think a 10 is perfect...

I'm not exactly sure of his hatch date (forgot to ask Matt from Pangea when I bought him) but I got him August 06 and he was just a baby then, so about a year old now or thereabouts.
