    Bad mouse mother?
I finally had a mouse that popped about 4 days ago. I had 6 total, 5 were alive and 1 was dead. I just got back from being out of town right after she popped and now there are 0 babies in the tank. I'm guessing she ate them all?

Well that sucks. So now should I ditch this mouse or try again with it?

First-time moms are the most likely to do this. I usually pull pinkies from first-timers, and let them have their second litter. If she feels comfortable, you will probably have better success the second time around.

Mice are a pain in the ace, good luck with them stinky little critters, have had one do a good job mothering, everyone else makes a nice tasty meal cuz they irritate me by eating a whole weeks worth of snake food in one sitting. Thats just my opinion on whats easiest to do.

I came to the same conclusion and dumped all the mice. I'm trying rats now
