Caught in the Act!

I have well over 15 beetles now, I'd say probably around 20. I just went to check on the pupa and found two beetles getting it on in the beetle drawer. So in a few weeks, I'll have mini worms crawling around. And a few weeks after that, I'll have nice fat juicy mealworms for Chibi. I'm glad my colony is finally getting underway. Its about time. Didn't I start this colony back in March, April?

Lol Beetle Porn. I had the honor of witnessing that once. Not exaclty what I wanted to see.


It took my colony months and months to breed, then it took the worms a long time to grow big enough for my leos. It seemed like a really long time. It was really warm too, so they weren't dormant. It just took forever for them to grow. I had to keep buying mealies for a long time.

Awesome, glad everything is getting up and running.
