How do you start a morph from scratch?

Say for instance you wanna morph a snake that has never been morph before.

How do you start?

Also, are there any popular snakes that you can think of that have not been morphed?

You don't "morph a snake".....wild animals with genetic color and/or pattern variations are found in the wild and brought into captive breeding facilities.

Move to Africa and start digging termite mounds. :D

Then someone has to prove out these new snakes in order to find out if its genetic or just a flaw.;)

Base morph are discovered, not created. Some traits can be line bred, but you can't make a new BP morph by selective breeding.

I think you may be confused. You can't make a "morph". It is just a random occurance.

You can make designer morphs but no unless its an unknown het for a recessive and thats like a 1:100 billion chance

Get lucky and find it in a shipment, or go out to Africa and brave the territories!
