stupid question but i heard that rtb's give birth rather then lay eggs is this true????

True. The female incubates the "eggs" inside of her and the babies are born in a thin transparent sack that they break through
Typical, all boas give live birth. There are a few exceptions.
And boy is it messy when they do give birth. Yuck!
