    Sev Takes a Bath
Every once in awhile we like to let Sev have a bit of a swim. He really enjoys a good climb along the shower curtain rod (under supervision of course). He's 20 months old now and a really wonderful snake. He belongs to our 15 year old son, Luke.

Sev on the the curtain rod, this one shows off his tail nicely I think...

    Checking out what's up there.....

The only shot that came out of him in the tub. He swims around and seems to enjoy it but it's impossible for me to get any really good shots LOL. He likes to peek out over the edge of the tub every once in awhile.....

While ball pythons can swim Christina they aren't a snake that seems to like or want to be in water. Anytime I've had to put one in water to soak (most of the rescues came in with badly retained sheds), they act very stressed so we never swim them like this. Even with Sev this is a rare occasion.

Thanks everyone for the comments! Sev's coming along nicely we think. He's the first BCI we've raised up so we are learning as we go with him and really enjoying watching him grow up. His personality is pure boa though. You just couldn't ask for a more calm and pleasant snake than this little guy. :)

He's always had a really clean pattern and it seems thus far to be sticking around. Not sure if that will change in the future but to this point (he's about 20 months old) it seems to be the way Sev looks. For those who remember us first getting Sev, and have really good eyesight, did you notice there's no more little tail kink and his jaws are almost perfectly aligned now! Whatever "issues" little Sev had, he seems to be outgrowing the slight imperfections of his birth.:)

He looks great Jo. He's getting so BIG! What're you feeding them over there?

He's so beautiful and clean. He was catch and a half ;)
