Agressive??!?!?

Ive had my python for about a year now, and she was always very nice.
Recently I can barly get my hand into the tank to put water in there, Shes gotten really agressive, and even strikes at my hand outside the tank....How do I fix this? Ive heard over and over to handle it a little bit everyday but how can i handle it if its constantly trying to bite me

Tell us a bit about your enclosure. She may be feeling stressed out due to a feeling of insecurity. they love those little tight spaces..perhaps you could put a towel over the enclosure so she can't see you, and maybe some balled up news paper to tighten up her space. Good luck with things :gj: :)

Well shes in a 55 gallon tank, with a kindve multh type substrate, also she has a
little stone wall type decoration in there with a big piece of driftwood, There are also vines hanging from the lid.

55 gallon could be too big. If you could provide some pictures that would be awesome. In the mean time, try making her feel a bit more secure by adding some news paper and stuff. How are her feeding habits? is she a strong feeder? troubled feeder? is she eating mice or rats? how many per feeding?

Does she have hides?
