    new job
so it's kind of a wierd connection, but it's exciting all the same! here's the story: i play in a local community concert band. today we had to play at a graduation ceremony so we had a lot of time during it to hang around in our little room and talk. some how we got onto the subject of snakes, and this clarinet player and i started talking. i told her about how at the end of july when i get my license, i'm going to apply for a job at our reptile house in town. it's a great place, they take really good care of the snakes and various reptiles there. i got my girl from there and i love the guys there because they are so nice and helpful. and the know what they are talking about! but anyways, it turns out that her husband breeds balls and used to work at that reptile house for a really long time. when i told her i wanted to get a job there, she said that since she knew the guys really well, she could get me a job there! i'm really excited! i know it would be a lot of just cleaning up the shop and tanks and such, but just being around the snakes and everyone would just be too awesome for me! i know it's not a big deal, but this was the first place i thought of even looking at before anything else, and knowing i can get a job there is even cooler! i just had to share because i'm super excited!

Congrats. I have had my share of jobs and it always makes it easier when you enjoy what you do. I have had jobs I hated and jobs i loved. The ones I loved never really seemed like work. And it is always cool to get paid to do what I loved doing.
