What a day!!!

Man - I missed my flight home yesterday due to the lovely Boston traffic, but did get the opportunity to hang out with Kara a little longer as I waited for my re-booked flight later in the day - so it was all good!

Since I'm feeing a little drained, I called my boss yesterday to ask if I could go ahead and be off today as well - he gave me his blessing. Good thing too.

I get up, and step on wet carpet - thinking that my cat has peed by the bed. But no - my neighbor upstairs moved out, and thoughtfully forgot to turn off the water when she took her washer out. So, I'm waiting for the carpet guys to come out, pull up the carpet and replace all the padding (maybe the carpet too). NOT what I had in mind when I took today off.

And I'm getting more and more irritated, since they'll be here "sometime before 5 pm today".

Ouch....... :( Hope it all works out ok. I would be mighty upset too, the same thing happened to some friends of mine last month... and they threw such a fit that they got a bigger apt. for the same $ a month.....

wow! harsh! you don't have to pay for the floors right???

Nope, but she's going to have to - they already said "she's going to get charged for this".

if shes payin i'd push the issue for new carpet, it will be all streched out and they will have recut it and junk. hope it all works out for ya..
