    Congrats on the shed.

Just a tip for ya, but I use a Humid Hide when my BP goes into shed and I also mist maybe twice a day depending on the humidity lvl's. Damp ppr towel does good.

But I won't lie, I get some bad sheds once and a while (well i've had two in one year). Must be my mom and her dehumidifier.
I try to tell her to turn it off but she says it's cold and damp inside. It's the bloody summertime. GESH!

anyway good luck with the sheds.

If this the day you usually do I would try...

It could stress him out though. But I'd have to know the temperment of your snake to know for sure.
If he takes I dont see any harm...

I've fed my BP while she was in shed. She didnt seem to mind.

You might want to ask someone else though because I'm not really a pro yet when it comes to things like that I guess. Sometimes I douth myself. lol

It shouldnt stress him out at all. Most of mine eat during the shed cycle.

some will eat during shed some don't.

but you want to know if it is ok to feed him now that he has finished shedding.

    yes.

I get a great feeding response from mine right after a fresh shed.

I was just looking at your pictures of your tank.

    https://ball-pythons.net/gallery/fil...ookiesetup.jpg

I'd suggest you get a second hid for the guy on the other side if it fits.
He needs a cool side and a warm side each with a seperate hide.
and eventually u may need a bigger tank?? 40G I have that looks like 20G???

I dont have any pictures of my setup yet but I kinda drew one.

And that is not a heat rock by the way!
I have a UTH pad on the hot side.
and I have very low wattage light bulbs. 40W I think.

Hot side is 90F and cool is 80. But it changes depending on the room temperature I guess...
I like your top because that must help humidity too eh!
I should do that to my lid! I have a hard time getting good humidity.

all of mine eat during the shed cycle and after they shed with no problems, so you just need to know your snake and try, worst that happens is you take the mouse/rat out if it doesnt eat...glad to hear you had a good shed..
