    Frozen Rat Source in Oklahoma
Anybody here know of a good source of frozen rats, or I guess mice as well in North East Oklahoma? I have found a place that sells frozen mice but I think it's about time to switch over to rats. I have called some places but I really haven't been able to find a place that will supply rats.

I only have one BP so an order from somewhere like rodent pro doesn't seem very efficient because I don't want to keep frozen rats for that long.

    Whereabouts in Oklahoma?

I have a local friend breeding and selling to me. I do live because it's easier for me, but I'm sure she could swing frozen too.

If you're near Tulsa, let me know and I'll give you her contact info.

Also, Southern Ag stores all sell frozen feeders, if you have one near you.

I think the petstore on the north side of Bartlesville sells frozen, I think its called Classic Pets. The Tulsa reptile show is this saturday, June 2nd, and Pet Snake Snacks sells frozen in several sizes for alot cheaper than the petstore.

Ya, I'll definitely be down at that reptile show to pick some stuff up. I checked classic pets and all they had frozen were pinkies and fuzzies and those would be like eating popcorn for my BP. I guess i could buy live and my dad could bring home some dry ice but that would be a lot of work.

I'll be at the reptile expo for sure. Look for a short girl with brown hair in mauve paw-print bandana.

We've been talking about making a dry-ice box for our ratties, but just haven't gotten around to it (and probably won't before this weekend) but I can let you know when we do, if it's worth coming down to Tulsa for feeders, or if you're planning on being in town anyway. If she had a buyer who definitely wanted them, she'd make an effort to put it together. Right now, I'm her main customer...she started breeding for me, but will sell to anyone else that wants them as long as they don't cut into my 20/week. She's got enough ratties breeding now that it shouldn't be a problem to start offing and freezing surplus.

Ya I'll look for you. I only have one snake so it shouldn't cut in much at all. Thank you for the help!
