    So nervous today...!
Wow, am I nervous. I am driving to work (and back, later on) alone for the first time today! I have driven alone; drove the jeep from the dealership home, about 30 miles, Saturday. But still; this ten minute drive to work is getting me all worked up, and my stomach is in a knot tighter than a hangman's noose!!
Words of encouragement are needed; how nerve-wracked (or not) were you when you started driving? Argh! At 26, "I am too old for this!"
I am not at all afraid of driving on the country road with the 55 mph speed limit; that I swear I could do all day. I am nervous about a few certain turns in town where there is heav traffic.

If I could do it at 16, you can do it too at 26.

It has been many years since I started driving but I can so remember my FIRST time in the car alone and back then this town had ALOT of curvey, woodsy roads. Well...eveytime I went around a turn I would take my left hand off the wheel and hold onto the door for dear life thinking I was either gonna flip the car or that the door would fly open and I would fall out! lol!

It was years later before I actually did flip a car!

    but that's another story. ;)

    You'll be aiight!

Gin... you'll be fine. At least your showing concern!!! You know Jeeps are top heavy? and can flip if not driven properly... you also know that little old ladies run lights and hit you! lol ;) Just be cautious, BREATHE..... crank the radio, and you'll be fine. You'll get to know the Jeep and before you know it, you'll be itching to get behind the wheel! :D

You are perfectly entitled to be nervous driving. I think that overconfidant drivers that think they are in charge of the entire road cause more wrecks myself. If you are nervous then you are watching for anything and everything out there.
I didn't get my license until a little over 2 years ago. Then less than 4 monthes later I drove from florida to michegan by MYSELF. You'll get used to it eventually. It's not a big deal.
I have to drive over an hour each way to go to work, and it's boring and tiring, and one day soon, that's how you'll feel about driving too. Old hat.
You go!! Good luck, and good luck on the job too!
