    tank removal pictorial..
Here is how I remove Trigger from his tank. he will snap at you if you just throw your hand in, so I use a grapevine stick that is part of his cage decor; it is nothing that is strange coming in, like a hand or a rat.

I Gently scoop him onto it like this.

Then, snake-hook style, I remove him and let him slither onto my arm.

All relaxed and inquisitive; not aggressive or hunger-strikey! sorry this is blurry but it was tough to take; he moves alot!

I used to do something similar, except I used tongs to move Zim's head away from me then I'd pick up her body. Eventually I just gave up figuring she's going to bite me one day so what the heck. Now I just reach in, no problem. At first she's like "Ahhhh, hand!" and makes an S out of her neck but I just pick her up and she relaxes and chills.

Amen, i was sick and tired of playing "cautious" with her, it took a couple of times of me reaching in and getting bitten for her to calm down, she still gets kinda pissy when my hand first enters but once a get her out shes totally fine.

P.S anyone else who has this problem, getting bitten honestly doesnt hurt (with corns anyway, i wouldent let a big boa do the same to me) just be persisitant and your snake will calm down

I put a pillow case over my hand just beause I'm scared i guess.
He has never bitten me when I reach in, only after I take him out and I'm expecting it. It stinks real bad when they do eh! YUCK CACA!

But for some reason I'm not afraid to pickup my BP with my bare hands.

Maybe because I have heard more stories about Corn Snakes bitting and not so much a BP because they are docil.
I should just suck in up and stink my bare hands in there...

Yummy(says your snake) a fresh wrapped rodent surprise(AKA your hand). The surprise part is when your snake figures out your not dinner :8: .To be honest with ya your snake can still sense your warm hand thru the pillow case.He just might not want your hand for dinner YET. ;) :P :P

I'm with you. I have a biter or two and I just reach in and grab them. A little bite doesn't hurt much.
