    BP Genetics Crash Course
    Hey all-

Quick question. Are BP genetics just like cornsnake genetics or are they different?

Does anyone have any links to sites that talk about bp genetics. I read the FAQ and got a bit of information but I need something more complete and in layman's terms.

NERD has some amazing genetics pages as well. Grab a paper and pencil, you'll be learning a LOT about punnet squares! :)

Well I have another question. What do you think the chances are my bp has a het? I got it when it was about two weeks old. It has it's first ever shed with me and someone suggested it might have been captived hatched....

Unless you bought it as a het for something and have either paperwork or a reputable breeder's assurance of genetics, truthfully, next to none. It could carry a recessive genetic but unless you knew for what and bred it to the corresponding het, you'd never know.
