PLEASE PLEASE HELP.....i think my girls are ready! let me know.....

I'm guessing her male has matured and there were supposed to be pics of her females so others could give opinions on whether or not they are ready to be bred.


Or of course she could have been playing tickle mister whiffle and slipped and landed on the keyboard - it's a little early to judge at this stage.

Why asap? Are you afraid the females are going to kick the bucket soon? :D
I'd be more conserned about having a MM than having mature females. Females can mate pretty much any time they want to....for years.

Although this probably isn't the best forum to try and find a MM of that species. You might try posting an ad in Venom List and Arachnoboards, you might have more luck.

P. metallica has only been available in the hobby for a couple years, barely time enough for s'lings to mature...especially females since they grow more slowly so I'd be interested in seeing those pix you have, with some good, clear ventral shots.

i did list on arachnoboards....no luck yet. asap, because they just molted, i donnt want to breed them then have the sperm split on thier next molt. my girls are ready. just the way i prefer to breed them, thats all.

alright....alright... i edited my sig...ok. well the next time i get her out for a walk..,.i'll get those ventral shots for ya..lol uhh ....that means the bottom of thier feet right? lol just kidding....its cool now though, my buddy just got a male. he said i can have him after he breeds his two girls. i'll see what i can do about the pic situation. the blue is just spectacular!
i had 5....one of which was male...couldn't use him at the time of course, then i lost a female in a molt....stuff happens. now i have 3 huge females left.
those singapore blues are nice tooooo. i am just waiting for the price to come down a bit, then i'll get me some.
