The 112000 is a 24v...you should return it and get the 111000 which is 110/120/240. Otherwise you will need a converter to use it.

well i got at a resturant that just closed down. they used it for there walk in cooler. i saw ranco and electronic temperature control and i was like "I'll TAKE IT". it's not like i can really return it, so how would i got about converting it. is it something i can pick up at radio shack? if it's not worth it to convert i have a pair of johnson controls that i use so i could just use the ranco as a paper weight or something. thanks

OK...they make converters but they aren't cheap ($150+ for a crappy one and a decent one will run you $400+) the issue is how clean the power is going to the Ranco. Basically you are creating a high power battery to run it...which is much cleaner power then AC.

you could use it, but you have to use a 24 volt power source for it. a transformer that converts 120 volts to 24 volts as a power source. a relay or contactor wired in between the stat output and the heat source.

basically the transformer will power the stat and the contactor/relay will handle the heat source. about 20 bucks in parts at contractor pricing, not sure on retail prices.
