    humane rat killing methods?
    my mom wont let me keeps rats in the freezer and there is no where local that sells fresh killed rats so i might have to do it myself :confused: due to the fact that one of my snakes took a pretty bad bite last week.

    if you have a hard time finding dry ice, you can also use a CO2 chamber like this one http://www.thereddragonsden.com/co2.htm , this is what I did and it costed me about 50$.

    How do you thaw a living rat? Humanely? :D:P:cool:

    howabout gettin a minifreezer to put in your garage and then order your rodents in bulk? far cheaper in the long run, assuming your snake will take f/t

    Here is a co2 chamber that I built...works quickly and if done right is painless to the rats/mice. Let me know if you would like instructions on how to put it together...it is real easy and everything is available off eBay for cheap.
