Re: his first shed with me
Congrats on the upcoming shed. I can't answer your question fairly. Both of mine are still little dudes and our new baby (who got named Denton, by the way) hasn't shed for us yet. He just did at his old home the day before we got him, so it will be a while. That is assuming that adults shed less often then little ones.

How often do your corns shed?
Well when i had my corns they shed maybe every month to a month in a half.It shows your snake is well fed congrats
Re: his first shed with me
yeah.. a shedding snake.. now dont be surprised if you look at him in a day or two and his eyes are clear again. This means that he will shed within a day. And like joepythons said, they said about every month or so. Now you just need a scale to weigh the little guy and see how thats progressing. congrats on your first shed.

LOL.. too funny. but as a suggestion for health maintenance and perhaps future breeding purposes its nice to know where they are weight wise. :D

You are correct. The breeders i had i just feed them well and they thrived and produced sweet offspring.
Re: his first shed with me
I just have one corn and I bought a scale to weigh her with. I just like to see in numbers that she is growing. In the beginning of March, Zim weighed a mere 50g. As of todays weigh in, she weighs 73g. I just upped her prey size to hopper, so she should be gaining even more.
Does anyone know the adult weight of a corn? (not to hijack the thread here)
Re: his first shed with me
Well adult is sorta related to breeding size. At least in terms of female an adult is 300grams or more.
But I always see smaller males breeding and they are considered adults as well.
Re: his first shed with me
I will weigh him later on today.. I know that it is going to requre a snake bag though because he does nit sit still!
