    emerald jewels?
i just got off the phone with providence reptiles in central fl. i bought a pair of normals, and he says he accidentally sold me an "emerald jewel" female. he said they are the first to introduce this morph. has anyone heard of them? he said they have a green tint to their bellies? i dunno, but they sell for $200 on their website, and i got mine for $30.

    Pic would help.

    But I'd say there's a 102% chance that you got a normal. ;)

thats the link to the page. i went and picked out the snakes i wanted, so theres no way he is gonna switch it out for a real normal (if that isnt what the "emerald jewel" is already)

i think they think they really came up with a new morph, or else i dunno why they would dedicate their front page of the website to them

I didn't see any pics that showed the "green belly" just looked like normals.

There are tons of people out there who receive a shipment of CH animals, and try to market the fancies as new morphs.

Ask the breeder if they have consistently reproduced this animal. Only then is it considered a true proven morph.

It looks like that breeder is just flipping CH animals.

That must be some spectacular "Morph" if they are accidentally getting sent out as normals LOL

They say they have cinnis, mojos, and so on but no pics on their page and their pushing this emerald jewels..I'd have to agree with Brad unless they can reproduce it with predictable outcomes

yeah, I happened on their site before reading this post. they looked like normals to me. just the way they marketed it, "only letting a few go to get the word out there" or something to that effect sounded kinda funny.
did you get the snake yet? I'd love to see some belly shots. :D

    Re: emerald jewels?
I couldn't see anything on these snakes that made them alike to each other. Yes, they were nice looking snakes, but none of the "Emerald Jewels" had any charactaristics that made them look like each other. I know he also claims that another breeder is working with this "morph" and that it is genetically inherited.
