Reatemping to own a BP :) Advice anyone?
    Hello
My name is Jesse and I am now 15 years old. I got into ball pythons when i was about 13. I thought i did enough research on them. I bought a Ball python at the white plains show which i believe was imported. However it might not have been. The thing is i bought him from a non reliable source because the snake was cheap. I tooke him to the vet and he was in great health. I took care of him for 4 months until he died and we are still not sure why. I hope to buy another ball python from a "RELIABLE" source this time. I would like to know if anyone has any suggestion of how i can do things better this go around. I will really appreciate the help.

    Thanks, Jesse

Well.. buying from a reputable source is a great start.. make double sure that your enclosure and temps/humidity are perfect (before you get the snake) re-read the caresheet again: http://www.ball-pythons.net/modules....warticle&id=59

um.. and ask lots of questions. Good luck. :)

My suggestion would be to pick n choose at the show, go home, do some research on the breeder, go back the next day and finalize your purchase. Now, I don't know if you would want to go through that much for a $20 snake...I certainly would, but some don't feel it's necessary. And yes it would be much cheaper to buy at the show...50 bucks to ship.
