Is It Safe

Is it safe to allow my 5-8 month old Bp to roam free around my neck so that it learns I'm not A threat. Or just hold her in my hand as I been doing. It's only 2ft.

It's fine. Mine's much bigger than that and I let her drape over my shoulders if she's of a mood to. She wraps around my neck sometimes, and if she squeezes at all, it's very easy to get her off....even if she were to be serious about constricting...which she's not, she's just holding on.

Yep I do it too. I've had my big girl wrapped allll the way around my neck and it was a little uncomfy, but they see you as a big ol' branch and are just trying to hang on!

Me too, Houdini will hang out around my neck all day if I let him lol. He will squeeze a little just to hold on. He has never made me uncomfortable though. He is about 4ft and over 1200 grams. He also has a really annoying obsession with my ears.
