where did my vet go?!

i called to make an appointment for harvey the tortoise because his eyes have been kinda cloudy the last few days and i want to get him checked out and :choke: they said the vet i always see isn't there anymore! gack! you don't realize how much you appreciate your vet until you don't have them anymore... they do have another "exotics" vet on staff so we'll be giving him a try on thursday, but i really liked and trusted my old vet. :sigh2:

i'm wondering if maybe my old vet moved to a different office or whether maybe he retired... i might just call back and see if they will tell me. i needs my herp vet! :crying:

I know, mine retired last year. I almost had a panic attack. Then I found out his son took over and he is Just as awesome if not better.

I hope the other one turns out good and you are comfortable with them. I taken my animals to several vets and I know as soon as I got a bad feeling, that was it. No more.

Call information and see if there's a new phone listing under your old vet's name hon. I'd also go ahead and ask the old office if that vet has moved, is at another clinic or has retired....never hurts to ask.

Oh Emily... that sux! I wonder if they would release info about him relocating??? But who knows, you might really like the other vet on staff there? :oops: Hope you like he/she as much as your other!!!
