I think looking for a "fun snake" based on the size of your tank is NOT the best way of going about choosing a snake. you need to take into consideration what this snake is going to eat, how your going to provide it a proper habitat and husbandry requirements, look into specific requirements for whatever snake you decide upon. Whatever "big snake" your going to get is going to require a second person to help you clean the cage, handle etc. If your looking for something just to put in your big tank, i'd recommend getting something other than a large snake, otherwise I think you may need to readress the situation with a little more seriousness b/c making a decision of whether to get a big snake at all should be a very well thought out decision taking into account the entirety of the snakes life.

A big snake to fit in your 125g ISN'T a "play with and hold" sized snake. If you'd like a snake to handle, a ball python or a corn would be a good size for you, but then you'd need a much smaller tank for it.

And, if you're looking for a bigger snake, (from your comments in your other thread) I wouldn't suggest a burm, like you were asking about. Burms aren't beginner snakes.

Yea well, I just re-read mine and it's full of grammatical errors and kinda hard to follow... My bad. :P

But in all serioussness, it seems as though when we told you that a bp is way too small for a 125gal tank you immediatley jumped on the idea of getting a big snake. And that's just not the thought process one should have when deciding on getting a giant.

125g is a nice turtle tank!!! you could make a kick butt natural enclosure for 1/2 land and 1/2 water with a water fall and lots of plants... get some great lights... now that would be amazing!!!

Personally I would get a Boa Constrictor... they are not difficult to take care of and never need anything larger than a jumbo rat. They do get large and because of this, can be potentially dangerous to an inexperienced keeper.
