It is kinda sad, but then again I had a friend that had a two headed turtle that lived it's life and was a great turtle it never lived it's life with only one head, so it didn't know it was any different?

Kinda like saying it's sad when someone has downs syndrome. As long as they're happy with their lives **shrugs** who are we to pity them.

true but I still am sad for people with down syndrome too....y couldnt they have a chance for a normal life without genetic defects like everyone else.

you got to make the most of it when it happens, but it wasnt supposed to be that way. Down syndrome is something we developed...speaking of which i was thinking today...we are the only species that have make things to kill us faster...(was watching linkin park - what i've done video ;) )

I guess after having known some people with downs, I dont feel pityfor them . So many of them are SO much happier than we are. It doesn't take much to make them happy. Something tiny happens and it makes their day, it makes them so happy, and if something bad happens, they dont get super upset and have it ruin their day like it does to us, they're upset for 2 mintues till something tiny happens and they're happy again..

It's one of those, they dont know better kind of thing. They dont know what it's like to be "normal" and most of them are happy how they are. Don't pity them, treat them like people, not with kid gloves.

    Jon,
I completely forgot about that snake until you posted it. If memory serves me right, Steve Rousis produced it.

Hense the quote “See the happy moron, He doesn’t give a damn! I wish I were a moron, My God! Perhaps I am!”. I heard that long ago, but could not recall who originally used it.
