I had to restrain myself :)
Mark was cleaning out the 4-wheeler, and what do we find in the front compartment? A nest of wild mice; weanlings, eyes open. Mark was pretty riled that they were in there, but did not kill them; we let them go in the barn. Our grain is sealed up and they don't eat straw or hay.. so.
But part of me did want to capture them for breeding, or at the very least, feed them to my corn! I never would, and did not, but it is funny; many non-herpers would be revolted and want to kill them and toss them into the garbage.. but it is funny what comes to mind. :)
On a funny note, they had gone for a wild 50-mph ride with Mark hours before! And I took the quad offroad on some hairy bumps and through the swamp; so no one could say that they were not well-traveled mice.

Good for you for not killing them! Maybe you'll be seeing them around! :)

seriously, even though i feed their frozen domesticated counterparts off to the snakes with no issue, i find the occasional mouse in my apartment kind of cute, except that he defecated all over the place, so thats kinda getting old now. but there was the cutest little wild hopper mouse running around my girlfriends place the other night, it's too bad they're so gross, cuz theyre just so damn cute
