    good incubator deal?
I asked a local breeder if he was selling any incubators, and his answer was

"we have a gqf holds 6 levels comes with adjustable thermostat. hydrometer. fan system. for $400."

Is this a good price and a good deal? I am going to research it now, but I was just wondering if anyone has ever seen these or used them.

    6 shelves!

You could build one for way less. I don't know a thing about those.

I am actually thinking of just building something..but I don't have much time b.c Ginger just had her prelay shed. I ordered the t-stat from Reptile Basics.. I had planned on the hovabator but after that temperature spike..
I am probably just going to add on some FW to that t-stat order..

I use them for quail eggs that I hatch out and they work great... They usually come with a waffer thermostat. I myself would not trust the waffer. I left mine for quail eggs and decided to build my own. But for 400.00 you can build one. It will take you 2 hours to build one from a fridge. The hardest part is wiring the thermostat.

    Good luck

don't know about bird egg bators, but for 400 you could build a nice big one!

an old fridge, or an insulated wooden box, a helix, 5-8 ft of flex and some wire shelves and you're good to go!
