    Thermostat in Canada
    Hi guys,

first of all, let me tell you how amazing this forum is. I have gotten so much info and tips here.

I live in Montreal, Canada and I'm looking to buy a Ranco thermostat but I don't know where to get one. I tried Reptile Basics but it seems they only ship in the states. Any help? Thank you :)

Are you really stuck on the Ranco? There's a guy up here that sells them but he charges a plain silly price for them. There are quite a few people up here that retail Helix and Herpstat, which IMO would be the better route to go ;)

Being from Montreal, I will assume that you are fluent in french (my bad if you are not) are you a member of the French language herp forum up here? (PM me for details on that, if you would like)

Out of curiousity, what do you need the thermostat for?

I was going with the Ranco for financial reasons. I have heard very good things about the Herpstat and Helix though. Where would I find them around here?

I am indeed french :) I'll PM you about the french forum!

    Hey fellow Canadian :D

I have a ball python in a glass tank (for now, I'm changing him to a tub this weekend) and a UTH. I noticed it gets very hot rather quickly and I'm worried about Zombi getting burnt.

Thanks Freakie_frog, I'll check out the links!

What is this Canada you speak of?

On a serious note, get the best thermostat that you can afford.
