    As stated in my other thread, I'm treating my male snake for mites, well, according to the instructions on the can, you are just supposed to spray down the tank and the substrate, and not the animal itself...my question is, if I dont spray the animal, then how the hell is this stuff supposed to kill the eggs and any mites already on him?

    Spray on substrate, PAM dries on substrate, snake crawls on substrate, mites and eggs on snake die.

    It will, the mites leave the snake to deposit eggs in the cage. As soon as the mites touch the bedding it will kill them. If you spray it directly on the snake it will kill it.

    i tried to find a s/n I could hit ya up on bill, had another question for ya, and thanks for the reply Adam.


    How long should I wait before putting his water bowl back in?

    I personally don't like keeping a water bowl in a treated cage, to worried about them laying in the water and transferring PAM residue into their water. I prefer to supervise them and as soon as they get a drink take it back out.

    s/n =screen name, ie aol, aim, msn, yahoo, etc etc.
