just remembered this.a few weeks ago on Irish tv,there was a show on about guys on a building site in county Kerry.they went to move a pallet and a snake popped its head up through one of the gaps.
the guys didnt know what kind of snake it was but they got 2 sticks and moved it and put it into a box, and called animal rescue.
it turned out to be a horned viper,europes most venomous snake(found in greece and spain i think).
luckilly they werent bitten moving the snake,the nearest anti venom was in london, and if they were bitten they probably would have died in 2 or 3 hours. :snake: :snake: :snake:
