Lost mouse, found itself

So the mouse gets out...set up some traps to catch him(not injure) like i had a ramp going up to a bucket with a food trail andput a big chunk of food in a papertowel roll and the the mouse goes in it falls inthe bucket and you cought it...Well i had like 3 setup, the other day i go down to check on em and i see and extra mouse, thats really fat, just sittin in a tub, i dont know how it got their but i gues he cought himself.

Being that i have no more room for this, do you think it would be safe to feed it to my snake since he has been roaming my basement for a while? Im afraid though he might of got into a bag of insulation.

I usually don't feed any rat or mouse that has gotten loose since I don't always know everything its gotten into.

I wouldn't feed him. You never know what he might have eatin or layed in that could injure your snake. Not worth the risk.

The hawks that are forever circling our house would sure take him for you lol

I dont know what to do with him, im afraid to use him for breeding for the same reason, plus i have 2 many mails...maybe i should put it to sleep and give it a proper burial....I would just let him go but, who knows if it will survive....

Humanely kill it. Letting it go is more cruel, as it will never survive in the wild.

Humanely Euthanize it for sure if you don't want to feed him off. I would probably just do what I do with all un eaten thawed feeder, feed em to my roaches or throw em out
