This is my first snake! I'm wondering, isn't that the agressive S stance that he stayed in throughout all of those pics? I'm still learning the body language.

But yeah, I'm going to attempt to feed him a live hopper tommorow.. so excited!

Nah looks more like a defensive withdrawing of the head - if you hadn't been holding him he might even have formed the "ball" that gives them their common name. They tend to be quite shy little things until they are all settled into their new environment - then they just go to sleep most of the time.:)
