    Can I get a HALLELUJAH!?
Our dear sweet bp Cleo has been on a "bit" of a fast...nearly 6 months to the DAY (save one small mouse she ate 5 months ago). FINALLY took a live rat pup tonight...

    WOOOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!

    I'm a little excited. :D

For those keeping score at home, my Surinam boa Carmen has tripled her weight in the same amount of time, hehe...=)

*tells Aud's other BP to "eat, dang you!"*

The reptile shop where we buy our feeders got their baby bp shipment in, FOB, and my buddies there keep trying to get me to buy and take 1 or 20 of them home. How about no! One BP with (now post) eating issues is enough!

Sure are cute tho when they are that tiny...hard to remember, hehe. =)

Note: FOB = fresh off the boat

Yeah tell me about it...I'm more stressed then they are about them not eating..sheesh. The one that isnt eating was my best eater at one point..now she is a big ol hissing machine...I'm just glad the pastel starting eating and I have my fingers cross the other will soon follow.

We're not sure if a) today was just the day or b) the heavy rat pee scenting, hehe...

I left the rat pup in my "travel home from the reptile shop" rubbermaid, which has aspen in the bottom and offered Cleo the whole box...good and stinky ratty goodness....may have been enough to entice her...or just be a), she was just good and hungry finally.

You can get a Hallelujah and a Woo Hoo !!!!! Congrats. Happy Dance time !!!

My Ozzy just downed two mice after fasting since Nov. 11th.
Same every year for him just like clockwork. I thought he wouldn't fast once he moved into the rack....Ha...no such luck. It's just what he does.:)

    Hallelujah!!!

Both of my BP's went off feed late September. Cheetah finally broke the fast 2 weeks ago, but Monty has yet to eat, though he looked very interested the other night but never even struck at it, just followed it around. Monty has gone off feed around the same time for the last 5 years and Cheetah the last 2, so I don't get excited about it anymore. He will eat when he is ready. Haven't weighed either of them for a while but they don't look like they've lost any weight at all. Now only if I could go that long without eating....lol
