I love how boas will show you where you open the enclosure LOL! "hey dumb human, there is where the lock is, now you just use those opposable thumbs, flick that lock over and GET MY RAT IN HERE!" :D

That's so true Jimmi! Never a problem feeding a healthy boa...if it's warm and fuzzy, it's dinner time! LOL

The big rescue boa we had last year was quite funny. She'd do that "here's the lock on my tank, please open here" thing, had certain body postures that we grew to understand meant "I'd like out now please", watched hockey with my husband (and yes I have pictures to prove she actually did watch the tv), farted like a racehorse, and if you didn't get her out quick enough she'd tap, tap, tap on the screen lid of her tank to get your attention. Not a nose rub either, just a tapping motion that somehow she figured out got my attention and resulted in some out of the tank time for her.

Smart, very interactive snakes. I love our bps but can't imagine life without a boa in the house either. :)

Our son's young boa is starting to figure out how life works and has the usual wonderful boa personality and temperment.

Jo: You are right, they always know which way is out. Smart little buggers, or large buggers in this case, lol.

    Jake: Who wouldn't? haha
