Re: Problem or happy boy?
Welcome to ball python ownership. This is what they do if you wanted a snake
that was out and about you bought the wrong snake.
Re: Problem or happy boy?
Well I am glad he's all settled in then ;) Just being a worried owner. :D
Re: Problem or happy boy?
dont worry, I've got some that dont cruise at all, others that cruise a little every night.
He's fine! :)
Re: Problem or happy boy?
Mine only cruise when it's about feeding day. Otherwise I never see them without lifting their hides.:)
Re: Problem or happy boy?
So, should I handle him then?
Re: Problem or happy boy?
Its possible he has started a shed cycle, light misting at night and let him chill for a couple days. :gj:
Re: Problem or happy boy?
Welp, I left him alone a few days and sure enough, he has some blue eyes! Yay, he's growing!

Same here for most of them....I have 2 that I never see at all...one that always has just her fat head sticking out of her hide...one that always makes sure to come out and greet you when you come in the room, one that comes out ever so often on her own and another that is out 50% of the time...only looking at the rats right next to his rack lol.
Re: Problem or happy boy?
this a why i decided to get another snake, one that would be a little more active. i really like handling them but since its not good to handle for a long period of time, by having more snakes the more i can handle with out causeing a lot of stress...
