is 427g and 35" long with a 1.5" girth width appropriate for a bp that is about 10 months old? or is she too fat? she gets a very small rat every week, just enough to leave the slightest bulge. she last month she was 30" and 265g with a girth of 1.3" wide. is she too big for her age?

No, nothing to worry about. My girls are about a year old now and both above 500 grams. Please don't, enjoy big girls!! Just don't let them get too fat ;)

I don't hink that is fat at all; sounds like she is a good size for her age. Good luck with her.

Are you sure on your numbers?
    9 months = 265g and 30 inches
    10 months = 427g and 35 inches

This is a huge growth curve in 30 days? I would say your 9 month weights would make her small for her age.

At 9 months most of my girls are 700-900 grams and several took a couple months off of eating. (all are feed 1 small small rat on Friday)

Note all snakes grow at different rates...but yours seem behind.

you're right- i mixed up her numbers- she is 30" at 427g. i noticed that curve too and thought it was really big. but i double checked the weight and that is right. i dunno what length she was at 9 months anymore. i was using that downloadable snake measuring program, but not any more after the wierd size differences. i measured her twice each time with that, but after doing it manually with a tape measure, i won't rely on that. thanks for catching that.

The weight of your snake can vary dramatically if she is empty or not. Could swing 100 grams easy empty or not.

Glad to have helped...since all Ball's grow at different rates I would say yours is doing fine. Depending no it you weighed her full/empty each time that can account for a swing in weight...so it sounds like she is doing well.
