Wierd question...

But how do i breakit to my Aunt/Landlord I am going to purchase a snake? She cant kick us out as she basically needs us to survive. we take her to the dr, to the er, help her etc etc

Ummm....well....what do ya think would happen if you were honest with her? Personally, I think it's wrong to be so disrespectful of a person you're living with as to bring animals into their home unasked...and doubly so if it's an animal they would have an emotional reaction to.


Try by showing her some pictures of ball pythons, maybe? And talk up the positive aspects of having a snake for a pet....such as: No barking, no shedding (not in the traditional mammal sense, anyhow! LOL), no clawing/chewing the furniture, no poop filling up the yard or staining the carpet....things like that. ;)

I think its a great idea to hide the snake...you think you rush her to the ER now? Just wait!!
Honesty is the best policy my dear...show her how it will be housed possibly to show it cant get out...or shouldnt. Or actually show her a fullgrown one...if she is like my family and anyone none-herp it might comfort her to see how big they can get...and that it wont take down a cow...full grown man...or her. *shrugs* What are you going to do when she says "no way in hell can you bring that beast in my house?" Just be ready for it just incase...hope you can get him though :) Keep us posted!
