    New!
Hello everyone! My name is Jeri. I am 23 live in Blaine TN (right next to Knoxville) and I am soon to be a new python mommy. I can't get it for a few weeks, as this pet shop has a "two feedings before sale" rule, to MAKE SURE the babys are ok and healthy and eating. They have you feed them the third time so you and they can be sure your ok with things. :)

Hi Jeri, welcome to the forum! :welcome:

It sounds like the pet shop that you're getting your snake from is better than most. Plus, the extra time will allow you to get his new home set up and comfortable for his arrival. :sunny:

Can't wait to see pics when you get him!

Wow! Thanks you guys! I love this forum, you all seem so super friendly! Yea, Larry (pet shop owner) knows I get over excited and would buy any snake offered so hes only permitting me to buy a young, used to humans, tame snake. He has a few year olds that havent been handled much but for afirst timer, he refuses to sell tome the older less interactive ones. However he lets me hold em and such. I dont mind Payin $45 for a baby Ball python fromhim. plus hes sellinga COMPLETE setup foraround $70-80. ive known larry since i was like 12, I've been going to his shop forever. Sorry I dont use capitalization and puntuation correctly, i have ADHD and I just dont see typeing as an important skill to perfect :) Now if you want me totell you about canines and such line up ive read many a book on dogs and hope to get some on snakes! oh dear im blabbering on!

Sounds pretty good. I'm sure you'll figure out soon enough from reading the threads here, but you'll need two identical hides, one for the warm and one for the cool side. And also a digital thermometer and thermostat. Good luck!
