Orion Pics! *DUW*

Here is my little Orion. He's an Argentine x Ronne Pastel. I'm open to suggestions on what to breed with him when he comes of age. I was thinking a nice Pastel, but I don't know. I've never really seen a boa like him before. He's unique and I hope to make some good looking babies with him!

As for breeding, I think he would help make some killer hypos

He is about 7 months old now. I don't know much about Boa genetics, so I don't know if him being an Argentine cross would affect the babies.

They may take some of the "muddy" look(so cute I think) that Argentine crosses have rather than the "desired clean" look so many prefer.

He is a gorgeous snake :)

Make bubblegum albinos! You'd need a albino girl for him though, or het albino. I think those are the only "big" things being done with Argentine crosses right now.

Albinos are a bit out of the budget as of now. Who knows though. A het Albino may not be too bad, especially if we can get a female and later pick up the male Albino. So Orion x Het Albino makes?

EDIT: I've only purchased two boas. Kozma was from JnJ, but that was back before they even had a website. Orion was from a smaller breeder. Can anyone suggest anyone who breeds Boa Morphs? Particularly one who is open to payment plans :wuv:

There are quite a few boa breeders out there. Jimi020cricket has a lot of boas including some hets, normals(KILLER), and pastel boas for sale now. Just look around.
I wouldn't personally do a het albino X Orion if you plan to make albinos anytime soon since you will have to wait to prove out the babies as hets.
NormalXhet albino= 1/2 het and 1/2 normal and since there is no way to tell the hets from the normals, you could be raising up what you think is a het and turns out to be a normal. Albinos can be had for 500 on up already. With all the baby boas being born now, you are bound to find one for a great price and from a reputable breeder. Look around but I could only imagine the hypos he would help make if you breed him to a hypo female. The Salmontines are some smoking boas, the 25% argentine salmon that was on KS was HOTT!!

Yeah, Jimi showed me the albino girl he had. She's gorgeous. I'm not in any rush right now, especially because Orion isn't of age. I'm actually more into preparing for next BP breeding season :) The only reason the albinos are out of budget right now is because I'd want a female either at breeder age or close to it. I was cruising for them and they hit the 1K mark at least.

I was actually considering a hypo...thats a co-dom trait and I'm all about the first generation results! I'm just so pysched to find out what this guy can do.
