    Major crash!!! Oww!
My new borzoi pup, all 98 lbs. of him crashed into my older dog Starmy. Starmy had been stepped on as a pup and suffered from pinched nerves in his back. Several trips to the chiropractor straightened him out. For six years no problem. After the run in today it looks like we are back to square one. They are like kids, always up to something. You can usually bet that something isn't good!!:( Between the 2 times of the truck breaking down, vet trips and family emergencies, My budget has been exceeded by 3,600.00 in 6 weeks.

I will have to keep him crated for a while. It will probably take several visits to get him back to normal. He's resting now, but you can tell when they feel bad. He wants to be next to me constantly, so I had to crate him so he would stay still. Poor baby!!:(

I'm so sorry to hear that. When it rains it pours. I hope that things start to improve soon for Starmy and for you as well.

The sighthounds are capable of tremendous speed, so when they collide it can be devestating. When I saw him roll he went into a fetal position on the ground screaming. He was not able to get around at all. He is on anti inflamitories so we can get xrays soon. He's up and about today, just really stiff. It'll be weeks before he can get back to normal. Here is hoping things turn around.:)
