    HELP PLEASE with cleaning tank...
Hi everyone, I've searched around the site about cleaning the tank and I've read about using bleach and to rise it in the sink or tub afterwards and what not. But I have a problem with that.

First, the kind of tank I have has the UTH actually attached to the bottom with a plug coming off of it(obviously.) I don't think I can just put it in a sink or anything.

Second, there are no large sinks in my house, nor is there a bathtub. We only have a shower(It a small apartment.)

If anyone could help me that would be great. I'm new to snakes, i've only had him for a few weeks.

    Thank you!

Cleaning is one of the reasons I have 3-4 tanks in my basement EMPTY. I switched to tubs so cleaning would be easier. The best thing I could think of is to rinse it out the best you can and wipe it down with a damp rag dipped in a bleach water mix.

Is your shower head detachable? You could try rinsing that way.... Otherwise the buckets will be your best bet. If you are using bleach just make sure you rinse thoroughly and there is no lingering chlorine odor.
