    Rack and residents
This is my rack that my son and I built. I would have taken construction pictures, but they would have shown me with my hands around his neck, and at times a gun to my own head, but its done and its solid. Also included, some pics of some of the girls.
    The rack

Big Daddy and Big Momma the first pair, about six months old.

Sissy Momma, named after my daughter. She is thrilled.

Cleo (ready to pop) and Houdini. Guess how she got that name.

Nice looking rack! Are you planning on adding a auto-watering system later, or are you going to stick with the bottles?

Oh I like Sissy Momma but then I'm very partial to beige hooded rats. :)

Lookin good!! Auto-watering systems are blessings from heaven (if done right...). One question, are you planning on feeding in the tubs, or placing food on the mesh tops? The mesh loos like 1/4" to me in the pics, and if so your ratties will not be able to eat very well, they really need 1/2". If you are planning on feeding inside the tubs, or if that mesh is 3/8" or bigger, please disregard the previous sentence :D. Nice build!

Thanks. I got the materials for free, and that is 1/4". We plan to cut out sections to make the holes 1/2" and I hope to get the auto watering system done in the next few weeks. All in all there a few things I will do different on the next one, but it works pretty well.
