Good luck Swede. I have a few colonies of ASF rats as well as a few mice and many rats. I had a difficult time getting the ASF started, but once I got the husbandry right, they have been going to town.
In regard to them being nippy, I've found that the gneerations that I've bred are more and more docile. Has anyone else had this experience?

Great pics Jason!!!! So far mine have been fairly tame, except for the occasional mommy rat trying to protect her babies. Just give them a nice warm area and they will do great for you. It was nice doing business with you again, wish I would've had more time to chat. Let me know how they work out for you. :)

It will probably be a month or two before the females are up to size to make some babies for me, so they are separated right now. But I am hoping that they'll get it on!:D

I didn't realize they were still young. Grow babies grow!
