Question for those with experience...
I have a female that is at 1900g. She has been bred 10 times between November and March. I feel at least 4 decent sized follicles in her(about the size of a penny). I turned my temps back up on April 1st. The male I had breeding her slowed down on breeding in early March and now has no interest at all. This is my Het lavender male bred to a het lav female so I don't really have any other males that I want to back him up with. The male has already sired his first clutch that was layed a little over a week ago. So I at least know he is doing his part. My question is do you think this girl will eventually ovulate with no additional breedings or will she more than likely absorb the follicles? I am only seening very little(if any) visual building in her. Most of my other females have either already ovulated or are obviously very close.
Re: Question for those with experience...
John, if the male is not courting or breeding, separate them and try to get food into both of them. put him back in with her in around 2 weeks, a light misting every day is sometimes magic. dont be surprised not to get a good breeding till the summer, just keep trying :)

She has been bred plenty of times. She just did not develop follicles as fast as my other females. My problem is the male seems done and the female is just at the point where her follicles are really getting to a decent size.

A short separation and a little misting when you put them back together may do it.
