Pac-man frog help?

Well Its been a while since he ate last and I was wondering anyways to help get him some more energy. He isn't skinny by anymeans but its been 1/2 since he has eaten a decent meal. Their metabalism is pretty slow since they are lazy animals, sit in the same spot for days or weeks at a time. My idea was to give him some meat baby food through a syrienge(sp?) to get him some more nutrients or even push a thawed and purreed(sp?) pinky rat through a syrienge for him.
What do you guys think?

1/2 year as in about 6 months. I went ahead and gave him a full syrienge full of rat pinky which he swallowed ok. I'll see how he looks in the morning. I may have to give him some special treatment like this for a while to get him back on track. He's only a few inches long about close to 2 years old I think. I took him in as a problem feeder from a petshop where he was reluctant to take food. Last meal he took on his own as a full size discoid roach(2 1/2" about)

I have never had one go more than a month. Even then it seemed to be a temperature problem. That would scare me if they went off food that long. I've had a snake hold out for almost 5 months . Hopefully someone more experienced with these can give you a little more input.

Hes looking fatter and a little more alert already. I should have some rats pop soon again so I can try a live pinky then

I never did it by syringe; usually we will take the rat fuzzy and I will Gently pop his mouth open using my fingernail, and Mark puts the head of the rat in , and Benny clamps down and eats willingly.

Have you tried to feed him anything else? Like any animal, he might be tired of the same food. Mine eats crickets, king mealworms, silkworms and wax worms. I would only feed a pinky once a month, if that. Offer food at least three times a week. Beware of vit. D3 overdose. Dust with pure calcium with no D3 everytime and reptile vitamins with D3 once or twice a month. Maybe these things could help. Has he eaten yet?
